The Bachelor of Arts in Human Development and Management is an interdisciplinary program designed to prepare students to understand human growth, organizational leadership, workforce development, and the effective management of individuals and teams across diverse organizational, governmental, nonprofit, and community settings. Integrating perspectives from psychology, management, sociology, organizational behavior, communication, education, human resource management, and leadership studies, the program equips students with the knowledge and professional competencies needed to develop human potential and improve organizational performance.
Students examine theories of human development across the lifespan while exploring organizational behavior, leadership, strategic management, employee motivation, talent development, organizational communication, workforce planning, performance management, and change management. Through interdisciplinary scholarship, research, and applied learning, students develop analytical, leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills necessary to lead organizations, manage human capital, and foster individual and organizational success in an increasingly global workplace.
