Dr. Charles Ihejirika brings value-added executive experience in the nonprofit and for-profit sectors. An accomplished economist and seasoned law and policy expert, he is also a freelance consultant with many years of involvement with governments, corporate entities, international and multilateral organizations, including the United Nations, World Bank, and International Council on Social Welfare (where he was the regional treasurer for West/Central Africa). Dr. Ihejirika is currently the Lead Director of Daccade Law and Policy Inc, where he is expected to bring to bear his proven ability to establish and maintain cooperative networks with a wide range of stakeholders and diverse clientele. He also teaches at Barclay College of Law as an Adjunct Professor of law.

He has extensive experience working with cross-country and cross-industry project teams to synthesize data and research outcomes into status reports, summaries, speeches, and policy briefs for various audiences. Dr. Ihejirika is a prolific law and policy expert in contract, environmental, and constitutional law. He possesses knowledge of education, transportation, environmental, housing, economic, industrial, social welfare, and health
policies. As a dual citizen of Nigeria and the United States with robust experience living and working on the ground in multiple continents, he brings a unique and relevant international perspective to his professional work. He has also developed a deep appreciation of the diversity of thoughts and opinions, which will reflect productively as he helps to build Daccade to the first destination of choice in its area of operation.mIn his earlier role, he served as president of Aggregate Resources Inc, where he facilitated the design of clients’ corporate strategy, including governance arrangements. Before joining Aggregate, Dr. Ihejirika served as Executive Director of the African Initiative on Aging (AFIA) and was instrumental to the development and implementation of program budget, staffing, risk management, and communication plans to coordinate and standardize all financial and resource management issues.

Dr. Ihejirika trained at the University of Ibadan (Ibadan, Nigeria), where he obtained both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in economics. He obtained a doctoral degree in Law and Policy from Northeastern University, Boston, USA. He also went to Harvard Law School, Cambridge, USA, where he obtained a professional certificate in Law. He is currently pursuing a JD at Northwestern California University School of Law, Sacramento. Dr. Ihejirika has a known passion for education and has been a champion of improving unhindered access to law literacy. He has attended and presented papers at various national and international conferences and meetings. Dr. Ihejirika is a member of The State Bar of California, and the Metropolitan Black Bar Association, New York.
