My career goal is to become an intellectual property law professor, and a legal advocate for recording artists. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with recording artists at various levels. I have witnessed firsthand the intricate dance between creativity and protection, especially in industries like music where artistic expression intertwines with legal frameworks. Career Goal upon Graduation:
I have a passion to continue working as a professor in a college setting. I aspire to become a law professor. Currently, I lecture undergraduate courses in Business Law and Employment Labor Relations. The courses focus on the common law system, state and federal court systems, torts and negligence, classification and elements of crimes, elements and defenses of a contract, warranties and remedies for breach, statute of frauds, the parol evidence rule; personal, intellectual, and real properties, employment law and discrimination, forming and terminating the employment, business organizations (sole proprietorships, general partnerships, limited partnerships, limited liability partnerships, corporations, limited liability companies), intellectual property and digital privacy. I work diligently to be creative and work hard in my instruction to train the next generation of legal professionals.

What has been your most meaningful experience thus far?
Being selected as an ambassador has given me the opportunity to meet other students and inspire other students to take action in a role to represent the law school. It has allowed me to grow my leadership skills and represent an institution that incorporates real world experience into their quality instruction.

What insight can you give prospective students about Cavalla -Barclay School of Law?
The law school feels like home. It’s an uplifting environment where you will meet professors who care about your individual well-being and as a student. The programs are affordable and attainable for those who would normally not be able to pursue a legal education. The law school offers flexible schedules, which is a convenience to law students who are employed full-time, have families, or other obligations.

Why did you choose Cavalla -Barclay School of Law?
I came into the program with big ideas on the benefits of a foreign law degree. I was excited about the opportunity to take courses online and meet a diverse faculty who actively support those in pursuit of a legal education and representing international lawyers. Most importantly, being a child of immigrant parents, I wanted to find a law school where there’s true diversity and inclusion, and be a part of something bigger. I found the law school and have grown to love the community here, whole-heartedly supporting both foreign and U.S. law students. I feel supported at the law school and it’s a perfect fit. More importantly, I know for myself that it’s the right school for me, and when I’m prepared for the job market, I’ll let the hiring committee know who I am and why I decided to attend a foreign law school
