The bachelor’s degree is the first college degree awarded to students enrolled in a four-year college degree program. Earning a bachelor's degree can open access to job opportunities. The program prepares students to have the skills needed to be confident, competitive, marketable, and ready to seek a position in today’s fast driven and challenging job market. Graduates with a bachelor’s degree from CIU earned specialized skills in their desire fields of study. The degree typically takes 4-5 years to complete. However, the bachelor’s program at CIU takes about 18 months – 2 years for completion. It is designed for students who possess previous college experience or who possess many years of professional work experience, on the job training and can demonstrate readiness to do advance college courses in their desire field of study. Students admitted in the bachelor’s degree program at CIU enroll in the 8 weeks accelerated semester option. Students enrolled in the 8 weeks accelerated semesters are permitted to register up to 9 semester credit hours but not more than 12 credits hours.
